                          DREAMS
It was wet. I opened my eyes, and jumped back quickly.
I heard a gasp and a thunk. I smacked my head against the wall.
I sighed. I was in the shower. I laughed.
"I must have dozed off." I said to myself. How ridiculous I looked laughing there. I paused my laughing and my eyes closed again. My eyes widened. I was seeing myself, I was standing outside the shower. I looked down. There was nothing beneath me. My arms went out in front of me, reaching for something to hold onto, as I fell backwards, head first. I looked down, I was falling, but not going any where. I flailed my arms, finally hitting something, it hurt. I looked at my arm, there was a nail going through it, and I was bleeding. But I didn't scream. I was dreaming right. It was just a dream.
I shielded my eyes from the light with my arm as I adjusted myself on the pillows.
"What's wrong Jane?" I was asked.
"just a very strange bad dream, it was horrifying." I said with a shiver. Someone's arm wrapped around my shoulder, and I was kissed on the cheek. "I'm sorry honey. Just relax, it is our honeymoon after all." He said. I burst out laughing.
"AHAHAH!!" I laughed. Who ever's arm it was let go of me.
"what's so funny?" He asked.
"I'm not married! I'm still dreaming!" I laughed. He chuckled.
"well I hope it's a good dream, and I hate to break it to you, but you are married." He said. I stopped laughing.
"Which means you should be that one." I said with a smile. I took my arm off my eyes and sat up. And sure enough, sitting beside me was the long haired one, by the looks of it he wasn't wearing a shirt. I laughed at our surroundings, a beach, a bed on the beach in the middle of no where.
I pushed him over on his back and leaned over him, still giggling. "There is something wrong with my mind." I said.
"I like it just fine." He said, leaning up and trying to kiss me. I pulled away. He looked confused.
"I never did ask your name, what is it?" I asked. He shook his head in disbelieve. "How can you forget my name, I don't believe it." I sighed. I poked my finer against the tip of his nose.
"You, are far to, not…you…" I tried  to form a sentence. But it was hard with his golden eyes burning holes into my thoughts,
those eyes that were getting closer. I pulled my head back again. "This is a nightmare… if you're in it, and I'm married to you, it's a nightmare." I said, trying to break my gaze. He put his hands to my shoulders and pushed me back.
"and…. And… I.. I don't have this good of an imagination.. This isn't a normal dream is it?" I said, coming to the realization that there was no way I could dream this vividly. His hand brushed my cheek. "I don't know what you mean Jane," he said. I sneered. "You even have the voice wrong." I said, trying hard not to stutter. I wasn't going to put any option down, since I had met strange creatures today, who said that there couldn't be some in my head too.
"You're right, I don't have it right." He said. His form changed. to a paler man. With snow white hair and piercing blue eyes.
He continued to hover over me. "You see, I have a hard time imitating the voices of people I don't know," He said in a harmonic voice. I felt my cheeks get hot. I told myself it was from rage. "Honestly Jane it's no fun when you don't talk back," He said.
"oh umm." I mumbled, just slightly confused.
"Come now, don't be shy. After all, we are married." He said, flashing a smile.
I whimpered. He was waaaay to close to me.
"stop saying that. I don't want to be married to you." I said.
He got a kind face. "alright, how about college friends on vacation in the tropics?" He said.
"Enough!" I shouted, my cheeks were getting to pink, and I knew soon I wouldn't be able to think at all if this kept up. He looked a little startled.
"Be calm Jane," He said.
"No! who are you!" I said quickly.
"How rude of me. You can call me Shackle." He said. He leaned down and kissed my cheek. "It's nice to make your acquaintance."
I slapped him. "Stop touching me!" I shouted, short of breath. His hands let go of my shoulders and he put his arms behind his back, and was somehow not falling, just sort of floating. "h-how.. " I said in awe.
"It's a dream Jane, there are no boundaries." He said in a wistful voice.
"It's my dream… so, you aren't here." I decided, with a smile. He disappeared. I sat up smiling triumphantly. I was sick of this dream, I wanted to wake up.
He was suddenly standing in front of me, and we were both standing on water. "um, sorry  Jane, but this is my dream. It may be yours but it's mine. I'm only sharing." He said smugly.
"ARRGH!" I shouted in frustration.
"Go away!"
"ummm, nope."
"Then let me wake up!"
"nu-uh! Sorry Jane."
"Why not?!"
He opened his mouth to answer. Then shut it.
"…uh…" He looked around nervously.
I folded my arms across my chest.
"You don't have a reason," I said glaring at him.
"Jane hey hey Jane, it's your Fricking dream! You're making all this up! Why not just wake up!" He said angrily.
I nearly hit myself for being so stupid. How could someone else be in my dreams. This was all just a stress thing. I must be going insane. I looked at Shackle one last time. Then I opened my eyes.
Introducing Shackle into the story. woot.

don't worry, it gets stranger from here.
